CARE INSTRUCTIONS

• The products listed in this category are meant for storing salt, tamarind, raw foods, snacks. 
• Conditioning/seasoning of this specific product with oils is not a must, unless they is need to get them exposed to heat.
• However, the surface bottom of the jars might not suit all stovetops. 
• Additional conditioning/seasoning shall be necessary to use them for heating/cooking/serving any kind of food and pickle storage.
• Do check our cook pots/pans, salt and pickle jars as the best option to serve the purpose!
• A prerequisite cleaning is recommended as soon as you purchase a soapstone. 
• Use warm water for cleaning to get rid the natural fine dust.
• A medium to soft scrubber (preferably coconut) can be used. Avoid heavy duty scrubber!
• Use natural cleaning powders such as milled rice flour,  chickpea flour (besan). 
• Avoid using detergents for cleaning soapstone cooking/serving utensils, as these chemicals will get settled and leach thereafter into the food.
• These soft stone pots might tend to crack/break when dropped or with improper care.
