CARE INSTRUCTIONS

  • These vessels are easy to maintain and do not rust or corrode hastily. However it might loose its lustre if continuously exposed to air and moisture for longer duration.
  • Wood ash and tamarind / lime are the best natural ingredients  to maintain the lustre. However very mild dishwashing liquid can be also used. 
  • Never use hard scrubbers, as they cause deep streaks on the surface.
  • These vessels are not to be used in refrigerator and  dishwasher.
  • Use generous oil or ghee for the first few uses, as they support even distribution of heat and also introduce them to gradual rise of heat temperatures.
  • Do not use metal tongs or holders to lift these utensils, as they are considerably heavier. Instead use only soft cloth or mitten to remove the vessel after switching off the flame!
  • Do not touch hot vessels with bare hands, as they cause long lasting heat burns.
  • Do not use heavy detergents/abrasives, as they might retain within the utensils and get leached into the food. 
  • These bronze utensils might tend to crack / change their shape when dropped or with improper care.
  • Finally, never leave bronze vessels unattended for a longer duration upon gas burner.
